AGAIN, POLICE CLAMP DOWN ON SHIITE PROTESTERS IN ABUJA SEE PIX

 

Men of the Nigerian Police have clashed with suspected Shiites members protesting against the continued detention of the group’s leader, Ibrahim El Zakzaky, in Abuja.

The clash occurred close to the Wuse market area of the capital as the protesters threw stones and other objects at police.

Recall that on Tuesday, the police arrested 115 Shiites after police forcefully dispersed the protesters.
