Another tragedy hit Nigerian football yesterday as four -time Super Eagles coach, Shuaibu Amodu died. He was believed to have died in his sleep after complaining of chest pain.
He died at a time when Nigerians are still mourning the death of one of the country’s most successful coaches Stephen Keshi who also died this week.
Shuaibu Amodu led the Super Eagles to victories in the Nation’s Cup with the national team picking bronze medals a couple of times.
He was recently appointed head if the Technical department given his wide experience over the years. He was aged 58.
