The Senior Special Assistant to Benue State Governor on Protocol, Dennis Uchin Jande, is dead. He died on Tuesday afternoon at Hemko Hospital in Makurdi. The deceased worked with former Governor Gabriel Suswam before joining Governor Ortom in same capacity. A close friend of the late Jande, Chief Godwin Uwua, who conveyed the remains of the deceased to Benue State University Hospital mortuary, said he drove himself to the hospital for checkup and later died while on admission.
