Three siblings were among the eight-man dreaded robbery syndicate paraded yesterday in Abeokuta by men of the Ogun state police command.

While the duo of 28 years old Yetunde Adeosun and her younger brother, Tobi Adeosun 28, were paraded, their elder brother, Ismaila Adeosun who is said to be the kingpin of the robbery syndicate was still being held by police in Lagos state.

The Ismaila Adeosun led robbery syndicate were said to have been responsible for series of robbery and kidnapping operations across Nigeria, which included the dispossession of a top serving police officer whose Toyota corolla car was snatched at gun point.

Parading the suspects, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu said nine already registered exotic cars were recovered from the suspects across states which included Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) among others.

The CP gave their names other members of Adeosun’s syndicate to include 27 years old Olalekan Olawale, Danladi Isah, Oluwatosin Abayomi, Abel Womiloju and two other accomplices from the Republic of Benin; Dele Obey and Bayo Quaheeb.

Iliyasu explained that one of the suspects, Olalekan Olawale had earlier been arrested by police for snatching a motorcycle which he later sold to somebody at Ilara in Imeko/Afon local government area of the state.

“He further confessed to being homosexual and that he sleeps with two yahoo boys for a fee of N50, 000 per night. Five minutes after divulging the information, he started vomiting blood”.

“He claimed to have sworn to an oath never to divulge the information and that was why he was vomiting the blood. He was quickly rushed to an hospital where he was treated and released for that purpose on compassionate ground”
