7WARRANT CHIEFS VOTES FORMER COMMISSIONER OF EKITI AS ONIMESI

The long awaiting onimesis of Imesi Ekiti Gboyin local government was decided today through tradition and election as all the seven warrant chief voted for the former commissioner of Ekiti, Prince Olatunji Olatunde

According to the eyewitness, the election was held on 20th of May 2020 at the palace of onimesis Imesi Ekiti which all the contestants were given an equal chance to be elected and selected in which the former commissioner of Works, Hon. Prince Olatunde Olatunji emerged.

The names of the contestants are, AKINYEMI JOSEPH SUNDAY, OLABODE ISAAC ADEBAMBO, ALADESANMI MARTINS TOBA, FASUNLADE OLUWOLE EMMANUEL, ALADESANMI FESTUS ADEOLA, AFELUMI BABATUNDE EZEKIEL, OLATUNJI OLATUNDE, OLABODE MICHAEL KOLADE, FASUNLADE TITUS KAYODE, FASUNLADE AYODEJI TOLULOPE, ADEGBORO ADEYEMI KAYODE AND FASUNLADE AMOS TOYIN.

After the ritual processed and prayer, all the seven warrant chiefs voted Prince Olatunde Olatunji as onimesis of Imesi Ekiti.
The names of the seven warrant chiefs are: Mr Peter Alonge who was the chairman represented Kolaye of Imesi, Chief Eegunlusi who represented Oore of Imesi, Mr Olaiya Fagunwa represented Odofin of Imesi, Mr Oluyemi Oluwole represented Emila of Imesi, Hon. Bola Akinyemi represented Isigun, Mr Ajayi Anthony represented Ofoji Imesi, and Mr Bola Denies represented Balogbo of Imesi.

The residents showed joyful heart after the name of the winner was elected and announced and some of the residents danced to the house of Prince Olatunde Olatunji.
