arlier today, President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Bauchi State on a two-day state working visit. An 84-year-old soldier identified as Malam Ali Maiggo, who joined president Muhammadu Buhari during his military service in 1967 – were among supporters who came to see the country’s number one citizen at Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
Malam Ali said he has been wishing for the president to visit Bauchi state as he prayed just to see him one more time before his death.
Another old soldier who claimed to have served under Buhari during his military days – was also at the venue with his army outfit as they both wanted to meet the president.
They were denied access to the president due to the tight security around him but their numbers were collected with promise to reach out to the chief commander.
