MORE SUSPENSE AS CJN SHIFTS JUDGEMENT DATE ON KANO TO JANUARY 20

There is more suspense on the Kano Guber election APPEAL as the CJN reconstituted some of the Appeal Tribunals

Updates coming from the supreme Court on the various pending gubernatorial election cases from yesterday resumes reveal this.

The Court is sitting and Chief Judge of Nigeria, Justice Tanko is presiding as two new judges are brought in while two were removed. Justice Amina Augie was earlier announced as brought in to replace the ill judge who fell ill yesterday. Kano state to be taken first.

The ruling on the Kano Appeal is expected to take place on January 20 2020.

Given the fact that all cases concerning the Guber election were constitutionally expected to end today, it is obvious that a constitutional crisis might arise from these changes.
