Former CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has stated that it is only natural that the next administration probes the NNPC over the way it has handled the country’s oil sector in the last eight years.
Speaking at an event in Kaduna a few days ago, sanusi lamented that NNPC has been a disservice to tye nation. He stated that whoever takes over should ask the corporation to document and provide evidence for. every dollar it took as subsidy.

According to him, ‘they must give the details of the ships that came and we must verify from insurance companies whether those ships were in Nigeria on that date. There must be proof that you brought it in, that is what the law says and at the price you claimed you brought it in’.
