POLICE APPREHENDS NOTORIOUS FEMALE FRAUDSTER WHO DUPED JOB SEEKERS OVER 250MILLION IN ONDO

A woman identified as Iyabode Oluwafemi has been arrested by the police in Ondo state for  allegedly who duping unsuspecting job seekers and defrauded them of over ₦250 million under the pretext of securing them government employment.

The state commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi who paraded the suspects and others in Akure,
said the arrest was part of the Command’s renewed clampdown on criminal syndicates operating across the state.

He said  preliminary investigations revealed that Oluwafemi promised her victims lucrative job placements in ministries, departments, and agencies before disappearing with their hard-earned money.

She is currently in police custody and will face charges upon the conclusion of the investigation.

“The woman in question is an hardened criminal who defrauds unsuspecting people under the pretence that she will get them jobs.

“Many people have complained about her attitude. She promised her victims lucrative job placements in ministries, departments, and agencies before disappearing with their hard-earned money.

“Our men were able to arrest after carrying out thorough investigation. She is in our custody and she will be made to face the full weight of the law”
