MY WIFE’S PICTURE BEING USED AS THAT OF BANDIT’S LEADER WHOSE WIFE WAS ARRESTED IN SAUDI ARABIA, SULEJA MAN CRIES OUT

Conventional and online media had reported how the wife of the bandits’ leader, Ado Aliero, was reportedly arrested while at the Muslim holy city to perform this year’s Hajj

She was reportedly nabbed along with the bandit’s mother by the security operatives of the kingdom.

But in a swift turn of events, the Suleja resident, identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, rushed to the police area command in Suleja and lodged a complaint that his wife’s picture was being used as the arrested wife of the bandits’ leader.

Abdullahi said he was shocked to see his wife’s photo in a video posted on TikTok a day earlier.

He said, “I couldn’t understand how a photo that I snapped with my phone and later shared with my wife got to the public domain, as she doesn’t use any social media platform, apart from WhatsApp.’’

He further stated that he had been devastated since he noticed the mix-up, for fear of jungle justice against his wife by people who could mistake her as the arrested person, hence he decided to report the matter to the police.

When contacted, the Suleja Police Area Commander, ACP Muhammad Sani Musa, confirmed the development, saying the man came with such report.
