Police discover decomposed bodies of mother, two children in Abaji

The Police in the FCT have discovered the decomposed bodies of a woman and her two children in a shop at Tudun Wada Street, Abaji.

Sources said the discovery followed a report by a concerned citizen who raised alarm over a foul odour emanating from the shop.

According to sources , Police detectives, officials of the Area Council Environment Department, and FRSC personnel were deployed to the scene.

“The shop, which was locked from the inside, was forcibly opened with the assistance of neighbours.

“Inside, the decomposed bodies of one Ann Patrick Okorie, 44, her daughter Christiana, 13, and son Ebube, 9, all natives of Amechi Ohaozara LGA, Ebonyi State, were found.

“The corpses were evacuated to Abaji General Hospital, where a medical doctor certified them dead and later deposited in the hospital morgue.”

Sources said investigations had commenced to unravel the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
