Meet Queen Dr. Zara Abubakar: Media and Business Executive Making Social Difference

Queen Dr. Zara Fatima Abubakar is a dynamic Nigerian-Egyptian personality whose achievements span across media, entertainment, business, sports, and philanthropy. Born into a Muslim family in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State, she has grown to become a celebrated figure admired for her versatility and entrepreneurial drive.

She began her academic journey at Command Children School, Abacha Barracks, Abuja, and later attended Army Day Secondary School, Abuja. She obtained a Diploma in Land Administration and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management before pursuing further studies in Mass Communication, where she earned a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s degree, and ultimately, a Ph.D.

Zara Abubakar is a renowned TV presenter, entrepreneur, model, actress, philanthropist, and entertainer. She is the CEO of Zara World Entertainment Empire, Managing Director of Esteemed Media Services, CEO ZAMEEN’s Enterprise Limited, and President of ZAF Foundation.

She also leads as MD of Qibila Integrated Global Property Limited and CEO Pro Green Technology Limited, while serving as President of Naija Autosports.

She is widely recognized for hosting Hausa television programs such as the popular fashion show “Sutura Adon Jiki”, the cooking programme “Girke-Girke tare da Zara”, and “Meet Royalty with Zara”, a unique monarchy-focused talk show.

Beyond television, she has made a mark as one of Nigeria’s foremost female car racers, earning titles such as “The Queen of Real Estate” and “Nigeria’s Queen of Motorsports.”

Her influence has attracted partnerships with leading brands in Nigeria and abroad. She is currently a Brand Ambassador for Fursa Crown Rice, UAE Collections, Rahzna International Jewelries, and Royalties Jewelleries.

In the past, she has represented Indomie Noodles, Power Oil, B-2 Power Drink, Noor Abaya Dubai, Hijab Fashion Germany, Abaya Fashion Collections Egypt, and was once named “The Face of Hijab Europe.”

Through her non-profit, ZAF Foundation, Dr. Abubakar has continued to touch lives, particularly in empowering women and youth across Nigeria. Her passion for humanitarian service complements her professional pursuits, making her a role model for many.

Presently, she serves as Director of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Strategy at Fursa Rice, while continuing to advance her diverse businesses and entertainment projects.
