NIGERIAN MAN, WIFE, 3 KIDS DEPORTED FROM UK AFTER MARITAL TENSION OVER CONTROL AND DECISION-MAKING

A Nigerian man, his wife, and their three children have reportedly been deported from the United Kingdom (UK) following a visa-related dispute that spiraled out of control shortly after their relocation.

Visa Dispute Sparks Marital Tension

According to a report shared by TikTok user @the.story.town, the woman in the family was the principal visa holder, while her husband and children were granted entry as dependents.

However, not long after arriving in the UK, tensions reportedly arose between the couple over control and decision-making in the family. The wife was said to have repeatedly reminded her husband that he was in the country solely as a dependent on her visa and allegedly threatened to have him removed from the application if he did not “respect her authority.”

Husband Removed from Visa

The disagreement soon escalated into a full-blown crisis when the woman allegedly followed through on her threat and removed her husband’s name from the visa documentation. This action reportedly left him without valid immigration status in the UK.

Matters became even more complicated after it was discovered that a young girl listed as one of their children on the visa was allegedly not biologically related to the couple.

Husband’s Report Leads to Cancellation

The man, in an apparent attempt to clear his name, reportedly contacted the UK Home Office to dispute the accuracy of the visa application. In his report, he allegedly informed authorities that the child in question was not theirs.

The revelation prompted a formal investigation, and according to the online source, the UK authorities subsequently revoked the entire family’s visa, leading to their deportation back to Nigeria.

Debt Adds to the Family’s Ordeal

Adding to their woes, reports indicate that the family had borrowed over ₦20 million to fund their relocation, with the expectation of building a new life in the UK. Following their deportation, the debt reportedly remains unpaid, leaving the family in severe financial distress.

Mixed Reactions Trail the Story

The story has gone viral on TikTok and other social media platforms, where it has sparked heated discussions among Nigerians at home and abroad.

While some users sympathized with the family’s situation and called it a tragic lesson about honesty and unity, others criticized both spouses for allowing pride and deceit to destroy their future abroad.

“They should have settled their differences quietly. Look how one mistake ruined everything,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “People must learn that marriage and relocation require teamwork, not competition.”

As of the time of this report, neither the UK Home Office nor any verified representative of the family has publicly confirmed or denied the details of the incident.
