TUFACE IDIBIA REVEALS HOW HIS HIT SONG, AFRICAN QUEEN HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A BLESSING AND BURDEN

Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has made an intriguing revelation about one of his biggest hits.

According to the legendary singer, the song that catapulted him to fame – “African Queen” has been both a blessing and a burden.

2Face made the shocking revelation in an interview recently.

He said; African Queen has been a very huge blessing, and e come turn to problem join for me. But I am grateful for everything.

For those who don’t know, “African Queen” was released in 2004 and became the breakthrough song that launched 2Face to international stardom.

The hit earned him several major awards, including the BETMTV Europe, and MOBO awards, making him one of Africa’s most celebrated artists.

However, controversy has trailed the song for years. 2Face’s former bandmate, Blackface, has repeatedly accused him of stealing the track.

 

 

Although 2Face has previously admitted that “African Queen” was originally a collaboration with his former bandmates, he has consistently denied allegations of theft.
