According to reports, Nigerian influencer and actress Abike Halima Raheem, popularly known as Papaya Ex, has spoken out about the lifestyle and gender expression of controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okunneye, widely known as Bobrisky.
During an interview on Yanga 89.9 FM in Lagos, Papaya Ex defended Bobrisky against persistent criticism, explaining that his public persona is primarily about content creation. She emphasized that Bobrisky is enjoying his life and predicted that he will eventually embrace fatherhood.
“If you’re upset with Bobrisky, you need to check yourself. I believe he’s just having fun. In the future, Bobrisky will go back to being a father. For now, it’s all about content. People evolve with time,” she remarked.
In a separate development, Bobrisky recently commented on a controversy involving TikTok creator Peller and his car accident, which stemmed from issues related to his relationship with Jarvis. On his Instagram page, Bobrisky criticized Peller’s behaviour as reckless and unnecessary, questioning why relationship challenges would lead him to endanger his life and property.
Bobrisky further advised Peller to think carefully and prioritize self-worth in relationships, stressing that young people should not allow romantic setbacks to dictate critical decisions. He also hinted that he knew someone he considered a better match for Peller, urging the influencer to avoid jeopardizing his future over emotional distress.
