A TRUE MISSIONARY: SEE PICS OF THE NEW POPE WHEN HE VISITED SOME NIGERIAN STATES IN 2016

 

Unknown to many people, the newly elected Pope Leo XIV, has a passion for the grassroots church and missionary works.

Between 2001-2013, he was in Ondo Diocese of the Catholic Church twice.

He was also in Nigeria in 2016 and specifically he visited the St Augustine College in New Karu, Nasarawa State. Pictures of the visit has been circulating since he was named the Pope hours ago.

He not only visited Nasarawa but he was also in Shendam, Plateau State for the funeral of a Catholic Bishop who was of the Augustine Order like him.

The Augustinians have a major Seminary in Jos. He came to Jos in 2016.

As the Provincial General of the Augustinian, he also visited Our Lady of Good Counsel Iwaro Oka in ONDO State two times and again in 2016.
