Abuja businesswoman and APC stalwart, Bunmi JEGEDE has called for ceasefire in the ongoing faceoff between the National Leader of the APC Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of the Party Chief John Odigie Oyegun.
Bunmi JEGEDE made the call yesterday while reacting to the correct mudslinging between the two leaders of APC. According to her. this is no time for the APC leaders to quarrel as there is so much to do to rebuild the nation. She cautioned that all hands must be on deck to return the country to its rightful place in the world economically and for this and many other reasons the two leaders should allow reason to prevail.
She called for the resolution of the differences between the two amicably so that the country can forge ahead while also appealing to the National Leader of the Party. Asiwaju Tinubu to remember his labour in ensuring that the APC took over from.the PDP which was driving the ship of Nigeria to a state of comatose. Such labour, she pleaded, should not be allowed to waste hence he should, as the father and leader of the Party develop a forgiving spirit in order to move the party forward.
Bunmi Jegede also called for greater unity within the party so that the President woukd not be distracted and woukd be able to focus on the issues of rebuilding the country.
