ABUJA PHILANTHROPIST AND PROPERTY MERCHANT, UJU KENNEDY OHANENYE DECLARES FOR 2023 PRESIDENCY, PROMISES REAL CHANGE

It was a celebration of vive, love and hope as Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, stepped to the podium to declare her interest in contesting the Nigerian Presidency come 2023. The venue was of no consequence even though thousands of Nigerians from all walks of life filled the place to the brim. A large number of them were people with disabilities, people who Uju calls her own people, her own constituency and they all proved to be her constituents at the end of the day.

The programme of the day was laced with dancing and cultural presentations from various ethnic groups, showing the diversity of Uju Kennedy Ohanenye’s support base. They all came from far and near, Gbagyis, Yorubas, Igbos, Tivs and South South groups all to show that they love her and want her to run for the Presidency.

The overwhelmed Presidential aspirant who was flanked by her husband Chief Kennedy Ohanenye before declaring her interest took time to state how men had failed the country and it was time for the womenfolk to take over. According to her, the men have proven not to have the solution hence the decision of the women to come out and contest.

She promised better infrastructure, local community involvement in the construction of roads so that wastages would be curtailed, She also spoke on the security situation of the country and promised to provide the necessary leadership to contain the present challenges.

Highlights of of the programme in lusd the presentation of the flag of APC to her even as she joins the high caliber politicians that have signified interest in vying for the party’s ticket in 2023 Presidency. Foodstuff was shared to many of the people who came around.

Many of them.apoke glowingly about her, her support which ahs been a major source of sustainance for them.

It is instructive to note that thousands of people on wheelchairs, and other disabled storm the event and were at the vanguard of the whole programme indicating her affinity with them.

Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, an Abuja based philanthropist has been at the vanguard of helping the poor and needy in the city and indeed all over Nigeria for over two decades. She has implemented projects like hospitals, skill acquisition centres in various zones in the country and has also been a vocal activist in the pursuit of the rights of the downtrodden.

Blessed with a  supportive husband, together they run quite a large number of businesses in FCT and beyond. She has always been an advocate for change and has always believed in the role of women in ensuring that change comes to the way Government relates with the people.
