For the people of Gbaupe in Kuje Area Council of FCT, it was time to roll out the drums a few days ago when SAM Empowerment Foundation decided to commission the rehabilitated Healthcare Centre.
The rehabilitated Health facility, which was funded by the American mission wore a new look as members of the community led by their traditional ruler turned out in their numbers to show their appreciation for the new lease of life that the facility offers to their people.
At the Commissioning of the Health Centre were members of the SAM Empowerment Foundation led by the Chairman, Dr Mrs Aisha Achimugu. Other dignitaries at the occasion Representative of the American Ambassador, Representative of the FCT Minister, Representative of the Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and the FCT head of the NPHCDA, Vice Chairman of Kuje Area Council, as well as the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
In her speech, Dr Aisha Achimugu described the event as a remarkable achievement for the NGO, praising and thanking the American mission for its support in the project and hoping for more collaboration to raise the lives of people who are in distress all over the country.
SAM Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation incorporated with the sole mission to offering humanitarian services to the under-privileged women, children and Youths in Nigeria. Our area of focus includes, health, vulnerable children, empowerment and civic engagement.
