Armed bandits reportedly launch fresh attacks on 2 villages in Batsari, Katsina
Armed bandits on numerous motorcycles reportedly launched fresh attacks on no fewer than two villages of Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State in the late hours of Sunday.
The villages attacked by the armed bandits according to our sources are Gobirawa and Biya Ki Kwana all located less than 2 Km away from the Batsari Local Government council headquarters.
The attackers who were said to have operated for almost 2 hours reportedly killed one person in Biya Ki Kwana village and rustled hundreds of livestock.
However, our sources said no life was lost in Gobirawa village.
Funeral of the person killed simply identified as Bilya was held this morning according to Islamic teachings.
