A relation of one of the released farmers, Shuaibu Ibrahim, said, “They collected N8m, two bags of rice, wine and drugs before they released 12 of them, but unfortunately, one of the victims was killed in the bush.”
He said the abducted victims were released on Thursday evening at a forest in Niger State which shared border with the FCT, adding that the corpse of the slain victim had been conveyed back home and buried.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply an SMS about the development
