Some concerned indigenes of Bauchi State have raised issues with Governor Abubakar over the way he runs the State and the way APC conducted its primaries.
Addressing journalists in Abuja today, the group led by Captain Bala Jibrin and Dr Yakubu Lame alleged that the Governor is from Kogi state and not from Bauchi and maybe that was why he has not been able to commission one single project since he came to office.
They also took a swipe at APC leadership over the emergence of a Gubernatorial candidate for the party in the State. According to them, APC did not have a primary election in the State. To them, ‘INEC concluded that there were no primary election in Bauchi. They went round the State and they wrote a report to that effect. In all the polling units at least there were supposed to be returning officers but not a single one could be seen.’
They further stated that they have been talking because they have to talk so that what has been left undone would be done, ‘we are not going to leave our party, we love the party. We have not been informed that any name has been submitted but Abubakar has nothing to offer to Bauchi, they reiterated.
