Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed illness at a London hospital.
The governor’s London hospital trip was disclosed in a statement he issued through his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, ahead of the Supreme Court ruling on the Bauchi governorship election petition, Daily Trust reports.
“I am in hospital in London but we strongly believe that Allah is sufficient for us and He is Able and Capable to give us victory! Cheers, success shall be ours InshaAllah! Cheers to you all,” he said. In the statement, Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the lofty ideals of the new Bauchi movement.
Governor Bala Mohammed, though hospitalised, remains confident of victory at the Supreme Court. He also promised to recognise and reward those who contributed positively to his movement and show loyalty to him and the Bauchi project.
