Yesterday bandits killed seven soldiers in Bini village of Maru Local Govt in Zamfara. The corpses of the soldiers that died in active service are currently deposited at the Federal Medical Centre Gusau.
Information on last night attacks are only trickling in.
Zamfara has been the battlefield with many Nigerians killed weekly by bandits who raid and disappear into the bush. In some cases, the bandits take over communities and burn the whole place down. The crisis has created refugee crisis with hundreds of thousands displayed.
Nigerian security including the Police as well as the army have been helpless over the crisis.
