BUHARI’S INFLUENTIAL IN-LAW, ISA FUNTUA IS DEAD

President Buhari’s influential in-law, Is a Funtua is said to have passed on today. He is the second influential person around the President that has passed on in the last couple of months.

Both Isa Funtua and the former Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari were believed to have been members of a powerful group called the Cabal that decided who got what and when within the BUHARI government.

Though,unlike Abba Kyari, he never held a government post, the former journalist and editor who was believed to have been in his 70’s had claimed that it was an insult for him to succeed his co-traveller, Abba Kyari when the latter passed on April this year.
