The Nigerian Army on Monday handed over 151 repentant Boko Haram insurgents to Borno Government for rehabilitation and reintegration into the society. Major General Bamidele Shafa, the Coordinator, Operation Safe Corridor, made the disclosure during the handing over of the repentant insurgents at the Bulunkutu Rehabilitation Center, Maiduguri. NIGERIA COLONEL, 5 OTHERS KILLED BY BOKO HARAM

Six soldiers, including two officers, who fought to repel a Boko Haram attack on Wednesday were killed by the insurgents. One of the victims was a colonel and another a captain.
