DESPITE RECONCILIATION, SEE KWANWKASO’S MAIN MEN GANDUJE HAS JUST REMOVED

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the removal of the secretary to the state Government, Engineer Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi.

According to a report on This Day, Bichi has been replaced with Usman Alhaji Usman as the new SSG.

Rabiu Bichi, who was appointed by the immediate-past governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and was retained by Ganduje before his sack.

The new SSG Usman, had before his appointment, served as the Commissioner for Finance in the state.

Others affected in the cabinet reshuffle include Baba Dantiye, who was redeployed from the Directorate of General Media and Communications to the Ministry of Commerce as Permanent Secretary.

Ibrahim Kankarofi, a retired permanent secretary, was appointed as the Principal Secretary to the governor, after his predecessor, Usman Bala, was redeployed to the Ministry of Health as Permanent Secretary.

Saluhu Yakassai, son of renowned politician, Tanko Yakassai, replaced Dantiye as the Director-General Media of Media and Communications.

Meanwhile, the crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress in Kano state may soon be over as both parties involved in the dispute are reportedly ready to conclude a truce.

Leadership reports that Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje and his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, met with the Reconciliation Committee set up by the APC at the National Secretariat in Abuja.

The closed-door meeting, which lasted for over two hours, was attended by Ganduje, Kwankwaso, the party’s leaders and some state government officials.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the meeting, Senator Lawal Shuaibu, the chairman of the committee and the deputy national chairman (North), revealed that tremendous progress has been made in the reconciliatory efforts.
