Slim-built illustrious daughter of Ondo town in Ondo State, Dr. Omobola Johnson, can’t be said to have done badly in her profession as she has given a good account of herself, both in the private and public sectors.
Graduating from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom among few other schools, she took up a job in a management consulting organisation also in the U.K where she rose through the ranks to the apex before she eventually threw in the towel to focus more on nation building.
This she did as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council before she was eventually made the Federal Minister of Communication Technology in the past administration. She gave a good account of herself while she lasted in office.
Like many who participated in the last government, Omobola has since moved on to other things.
The brilliant woman, we can tell, has just been entrusted with a new task which she has pledged to do all within her power to make good and leave a great legacy just like the person she’s taking the baton from.
At a dinner which was held to celebrate the chairman of Elizade Group, Chief Michael Adeojo, who was bowing out as the Chairman, Board of Directors of Custodian & Allied PLC after 21 years, Dr. Omobola Johnson was entrusted with the task of taking over from where the veteran businessman stopped.
