Five decomposed bodies discovered along Abuja–Kaduna expressway

Five unidentified decomposed bodies have been discovered along the Abuja–Kaduna expressway near the FCT–Kaduna boundary, the Niger.
Zagazola gathered that the bodies, all male, were found lying face down with their faces blindfolded with black cloth, suggesting they may have been killed elsewhere and dumped at the location by unknown persons.
Upon receipt of the information, a team of policemen visited the scene and recovered two empty shells of an AK-47 rifle and an android phone. Photographs of the remains were taken for documentation.
Due to the advanced stage of decomposition and the health risk posed, Chairman of Tafa Local Government Area, Hon. Danladi T. Iyah, directed the Social Welfare Department to conduct an immediate burial at the site. The burial was carried out in the presence of the Hakimi and the Village Head (Dagachi) of Garam.
Sources say investigation to uncover the identity of the victims and the perpetrators is ongoing.
