GANDUJE ALLEGES KWANKWASO’S MEN WANT TO DISRUPT RERUN ELECTION IN KANO

The Kano State government said it has uncovered plans by political pressure group, Kwankwassiya led by former governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to allegedly hire thugs to disrupt next Saturday’s state House of Assembly by-election in Minjibir.
State Commissioner of Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Malam Muhammad Garba, who made the revelation in a terse statement distributed to newsmen Wednesday in kano, said supporters of Kwankwasiyya group have orchestrated plans to unleash mayhem during the rescheduled election.
Garba further alleged that information at the state government’s disposal suggested that “Kwankwasiyya group has hired thugs from neighbouring country of Niger Republic and Katsina and Jigawa states to unleash mayhem on innocent and law abiding electorate, with the aim of scuttling the entire process for his selfish reasons.”
