In recent times, actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, who has a reputation for minding her business in the industry, has shown continuous support for her close friends.
One such person is rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, aka Falz. On Saturday, May 3, 2025, she posted pictures of him and wrote, “Handsome men won’t distract me, but #thefeast for May 30th will.” This post was a show of her support for his upcoming sixth solo album titled, The Feast.
A few days after, she posted a short clip of his role from her movie, Jenifa’s Diaries and tagged him her man crush Monday to further support his album. She wrote, “Our #mancrushmonday today is someone truly special @falzthebahdguy

This comes after rumours had circulated that the top actress was in an intimate relationship with Falz, especially after their scenes in Funke’s blockbuster movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa in 2024, where they both kissed passionately.
