Gunmen attacked Afuze Police Station in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, killing the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) four police and civilians.
According to what MANDY NEWS was told by friends and relatives that the gunmen stormed the station with Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), which they exploded before carting away rifles and other ammunition.
Our source who spoke with MANDY NEWS last night said the gunmen, who were about 10 in number, arrived the station at about 8p.m., shooting sporadically before killing the officers and some civilians.
