KWARA POLY SPEAKS ON ITS STUDENTS WHO MURDERED ILORIN BIG BOY AND NITE CLUB OWNER

The Kwara State Polytechnic has disowned the two suspects, Oreoluwa Davies and Adama Joseph, who were paraded for the murder of a club owner, Adeniyi Ojo, in a hotel situated in Ilorin, the state capital.

DAILY POST recalls that one of the suspects, Adama, on Wednesday during the interrogation at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, claimed to have completed her ND program at Kwara Polytechnic prior to the incident.

Reacting to the claim in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, Halimat Garba, on Thursday, the institution stated that its students were good ambassadors of Nigeria.

“The management wishes to disclaim this discrediting and malicious news about the institution, stating that the suspects being paraded in Abuja by the force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, are students of Kwara State Polytechnic.

“The Polytechnic wishes to categorically state that its students are good ambassadors of the Polytechnic, the state, and Nigeria at large and will never indulge in such acts.”
