MAJOR SHAKEUP IN FCT ADMINISTRATION AS DIRECTORS ARE SACKED AND NEW ONES APPOINTED FOR STDA, AGIS,PARKS AND GARDENS,LANDS AND OTHER DEPTS

There is a major shake­up in the FCTA as the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has appointed new Di­rectors for Lands, The Abuja Geographic Information Sys­tem (AGIS), Development Control, Parks and Gardens and other appointments.
The appointments are: Ad­amu Hussaini Jibrin, new Di­rector of Land Administration, Dr. Isa Jalo for Abuja Geo­graphic Information System (AGIS).
Others are new redeploy­ments in the Departments of Parks & Recreation as well as Development Control. This was contained in a circular signed by the FCT Permanent Secretary, Dr. Babatope Ajakai­ye.
The new Directors of Parks & Recreation as well as Devel­opment Control are Ali Alhaji Ukele and Mukhtar Galadima Usman respectively.
Others appointments and redeployments are of Imande Victoria, Director, Satellite Towns Development Depart­ment (STDD); Obiechina Helen Nneka, Director, Re­settlement & Compensation; Ahmed Zalihau, Director, Urban & Regional Planning; Dr. Okoronkwo Humphery, Director, Public Health; Mrs. Jogai Cerie, Director, Archives & History Bureau and Olaloye Marufu Omoniyi, Director, Facilities Maintenance & Man­agement.
Abubakar Yahaya is now the Secretary, Urban & Regional Planning Tribunal, while Mrs. Ohamma Perpetual Ndawii now takes charge as the Deputy Director (Planning & Resettle­ment) in the Resettlement & Compensation Department.
The Circular also directed that all Deputy Directors cur­rently in the Departments of Land Administration and De­velopment Control are affected by this posting and should re­port to the Department of Es­tablishment and Training for further posting instructions.
The circular also directed those affected by way of re­moval following the new ap­pointments to wait for rede­ployment.
The circular further directed that the changes were with im­mediate effect.
