A man was arrested aboard an Abuja-bound flight after he was allegedly caught st£aling ₦290,000 from the luggage of a white passenger.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect reportedly opened an overhead compartment during boarding and removed the cash from another traveler’s bag. The foreign passenger later raised an alarm when he noticed his luggage was missing from the compartment.
A female passenger who claimed to have seen the suspect tampering with the bag identified him to the cabin crew. Upon being searched, the missing money was allegedly found in his possession.
The suspect was subsequently handed over to airport security officials for further investigation. A video of the incident, which shows the man being escorted off the plane, has since gone viral on social media.
