NEWLY APPOINTED BORNO COMMISSIONER DIES IN HIS SLEEP

Engr. Ibrahim Idris, the newly-appointed Commissioner for Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement in Borno State is dead.

According to reports, he died in his sleep on Thursday night at his guest house in the 777 Housing Estate, Maiduguri.

The cause of his death is still unknown, but some sources said the young commissioner, who also served as Special Adviser on Projects Monitoring, is suspected to have died from a heart attack, while others said he may have been poisoned.

His remains were taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
