The Ohaneze Ndigbo has waded into the lingering feud between the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. Dave Umahi and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen Anyim Pius Anyim.
In a statement made available on Sunday, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation announced the formation of a three member committee to look into the matter. The committee members include, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Igwe Alfred Achebe and Sen. Ken Nnamani. President General of Ohaneze, Chief Nnia Nwodo described as unfortunate media war by the two Igbo Leaders in the past weeks, and charged the committee to stop at nothing to reconcile them. On the forthcoming General election of the organisation slated for January 10, 2021, Nwodo announced electoral committee saddled with the responsibility of conducting elections into various offices.
