Osun Polls: Tribunal grants Jumoke Lawoyin & National Rescue Movement’s application for substituted service on evading APC and the Governor-elect. Orders for inspection of election materials
Mrs. Jumoke Lawoyin who was sponsored by her party NRM but unlawfully excluded by the INEC to participate in the just concluded gubernatorial election asked the tribunal to cancel the victory of Mr Oyetola and set a stage for another election where she will participate in the election.
At a pre-election petition hearing today, the Tribunal granted all the four reliefs she requested from the Tribunal to wit,
1. An Order granting leave to hear her application before the election pre-hearing session.
2. An Order of substituted service on APC and Mr Oyetola by pasting the court processes on the Tribunal’s notice board.
3. An Order for inspection of all the materials and documents used before and during the election and,
4. An Order compelling the INEC to issue the certified true copy of all the document requested by the petitioners.
Dr. Kayode Ajulo, the petitioners counsel who personally came to Osogbo to urged the application informed the Tribunal that the application is to help the course of justice in the circumstance of the applicants’ petition.
