Nollywood actress and film producer, Regina Daniels has disclosed that getting married to Senator Ned Nwoko was a route she was meant to take, and that it was never meant to be her “final destination”.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Regina made this statement on Wednesday in a caption to a video that is now trending via social media.
“For the records, I don’t regret anything. Na only me carry my leg enter but This was a route I was meant to take, not my final destination,” she wrote.
Recall the marriage between Regina and Nwoko hit rock bottom after the couple stunned everyone when they took to social media to level damaging accusations against each other.
While the 25-year-old actress accused her husband of repeatedly assaulting her and claimed she could no longer endure the alleged abuse, the 64-year-old lawmaker said his wife was addicted to drugs and alcohol.
TNG reports the Nollywood actress subsequently moved out of the Delta North Senator’s residents after she announced the acquisition of a new luxurious mansion in Lagos State.
Not too long, Regina disclosed that his brother, Sammy Daniels, popularly known as Sammy West, has been arrested under mysterious circumstances with the police not allowing access to him.
“Imagine one of the highest authorities in the police force, or if not the highest saying his hands are tied,” Regina exclaimed.
Meanwhile, in the now trending video, the Nollywood actress averred that she still care and respect Ned Nwoko, and that people should stop saying she married him out of greed.
