SEE REACTIONS AS MAN CLAIMS HIS CAR WAS BURGLED RIGHT IN FRONT OF A POLICE STATION IN ABUJA

By Gideon Ayeni

A Nigerian man has raised alarm after his car was broken into just outside a police station in Abuja, with thieves carting away a laptop and a bag containing sensitive land documents.

The shocking incident occurred in front of Zone 7 Police Station, and was brought to public attention via a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE.

In the video, the visibly distressed victim believed to be the owner of the car narrated how his vehicle was vandalized right under the noses of law enforcement officers, without any intervention or response from the police.

“In front of the police station, Zone 7 Police Station, they broke the windscreen and took away the laptop from inside this car,” he said, pointing at the damage.

He further appealed to members of the public, particularly Abuja residents, to be on the lookout for the missing bag, which he said contains important landed property documents.

“Please, if you reside in Abuja and you mistakenly see any bag anywhere, it contains landed documents,” he pleaded. “If you mistakenly stole any bag, please just contact me.”
