Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Kalu; President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan and Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on Friday met privately in Abuja.
It was gathered that Senator Orji Kalu, a former governor of Abia, also met separately behind closed doors with Mr. Boss Mustapha, Secretary to Government of the Federation.
Although the reasons for their meeting could not be immediately ascertained, we however learned both meetings lasted a couple of hours from 1pm Friday.
This is not the first time Nigerian political leaders will be meeting the Abia-born former Governor who is now a Senator.
Undoubtedly, Kalu is very influential and may still play major roles in 2023 calculations.
