Photo: Twitter Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has appointed his spokesman, Samuel Aruwan as commissioner of the newly created Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs. Aruwan’s name is among the first batch of 11 Commissioner nominees that were sent to the State House of Assembly for confirmation. EL RUFAI APPOINTS FEMALE YORUBA ARCHITECT AS COMMISSIONER

Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has broken ethnic and gender barriers once again by nominating Fausat Adebola Ibikunle, a Yoruba woman, but Kaduna born architect as a commissioner. The governor had broken convention in the run up to his re-election in March by running with a muslim woman, a medical doctor.
