TARABA DEPUTY GOVERNOR RETURNS AFTER 8 MONTHS ABSENCE, SIGHTED IN HIS OFFICE

The Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Aminu Alkali, has returned to Jalingo, the state capital, after a prolonged absence.

Daily Trust reports that Alkali flew in through the Yalo Airport.

There is also a short clip of him making the rounds on social media.

Alkali arrived from Abuja and was driven to his official residence at the Government House in a convoy of four vehicles.

He was last seen in office eight months ago, and since then there were rumours that Alkali was battling an undisclosed ailment.

There were also unconfirmed reports that he briefly visited his office in Yola.
