The result, according to our men on ground are already available to the major political players in the country  as well as Cameroun News Agency, and it is generating a lot of concern among the supporters of the incumbent President.

Sources have revealed that the government in a bid to ensure that they are in control of the situation, have placed Tchiroma under house arrest in Garoua, close to Yola. It is believed that the decision to keep him in check is to ensure that they have ample time to manipulate the result while also ensuring that his supporters don’t have the opportunity to rally around him.

Ordinarily the results are not expected to be released by the electoral body till 27th or October which is exactly 15 days after the election. But in these days of technology, the results are already in public domain.

Before the official announcement of the results, the candidates are expected to have seen it and come up.with their complaints and based on what he has seen, Issa Tchiroma Bakary was said to have declared himself elected and also called on Paul Biya to concede defeat.
