THERE ARE NO ROADS IN NIGERIA, BUT GOD WILL ARREST THOSE STRANGLING THE COUNTRY BY DEVOURING ITS RESOURCES – EA ADEBOYE

In a message that was a direct critique of many policies of the Nigerian government, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye took on politicians and others who he claimed have been strangling the country, denying it of its resources while also pushing the country into more crippling debts.

In a statement laced with sarcasm,  Adeboye said ‘it is not a lie that the Nigerian roads are not bad. ‘The truth, is that in most parts of Nigeria there are no roads’.

He stated further that as someone who has travelled all over the country he is in a position to access this and so when he speaks he is saying the truth.

Speaking on the topic, Arise o Lord, he prayed that those who sit in one corner and gulp the resources meant for the development of the country will know no peace. He prayed that God will arise and neutralise them.

He also spoke on those who are strangling the country, as  leaders, saying that they will not end well.

Speaking on the nation’s leaders who have been borrowing from foreign countries, he warned them against such act. According to him, the lenders are like bears who hug their victims to death. The same way the bears come as if they love their victims only to hug them to death, that’s the way lenders come to Nigeria offering loans while they target the destruction of Tue country. He urged the nation’s leaders to be weary of such friends.
