Nigerian top musical act Tuface Idibia and wife Natasha face eviction from ABUJA property after failing to pay their rent..
According to reports, the landlord is threatening to go to court to repossess the property if the couple continue to default.
The property in question is a 5-bedroom duplex with boys quarters located 27, Edwin Clark Crescent, Guzape Abuja. Many had been made to believe that the property was a gift from the Edo State Assembly member’s grandfather. The truth has now come out that the couple indeed rented the apartment for which Natasha was said to have paid 40 million Naira initial rent with the aim of balancing another 40 million Naira totalling 80 million Naira as rent for two years. They were also expected to pay sundry charges of 7 million Naira which they defaulted in paying.
Court documents indicate that the landlord was issued a cheque which was declined at the bank hence his decision to approach the court to seek redress.
