WATCH THE DRAMA BETWEEN OONI OF IFE AND ALAAFIN OF OYO OVER MICROPHONE AT THE 90TH BIRTHDAY OF BABA IJEBU

There was a mild drama at the 90th birthday of Baba Ijebu yesterday between the Alaafin of Oyo and The Ooni of Ife.

It seems both of them have beef with each other as the Ooni of Ife passed the microphone to the Alaafin of Oyo with his left hand.

In response the Alaafin instructed his aide to wrap the mic with handkerchief before receiving it.

I don’t know the cause of their quarrel but I think such displays should be discouraged.
